I'll never forget his home run in the world series...that was one of the defining moments for baseball in my lifetime. Keep in mind that my beloved Tribe were the laughing stock of baseball until mid-way through my life, so I had to cling on to other mid-markets....regardless, Kirby seemed like a great guy. The game needs more guys like him...

Was visiting the girlfriend's extended family south of the border this weekend when the stroke happened. Let's just say there were a lot of sad faces around the Mall of America yesterday. Throughout the state of Minnesotta in general actually, people really took it hard. He was well loved by just about everyone I'd say.

Cheers
