#1

A version of Nautical : http://www.noisehead.com/mypage/brianmoore
Near the bottom of the page, under 'Miss Hayes'

I've not heard a Hip song sung by a woman before so...

Stop the madness...Too much Guiness Smile

want to be a nobody without peer
want to be a thought that's never done
want to shake your faith in human nature
want to break the hearts of everyone
want to be your wheezing screen door
want to be your stars of Algonquin
want to be your roaring floorboard
want to break the hearts of everyone

Maybe you were listening to the dudes version?

And "Miss Hayes" sure doesn't sound Irish.

Aye, one version is sung by my lil bro, the other by my gf, who is most definintely Irish.
And I'm the one playing the music. Cool, weird, creepy, madness; Thanks for yers opinions, hhmmm

Thanks for sharing. On a site of such dedicated Hip fans it's hard to hear the songs performed by anyone other than The Hip.

Nothing wrong with that cover, a bit noisy in the vocals (no pop filter?).

We get used to hearing a song the first way we here it. It becomes the canonical version and we say everything else is crap.

I didn't say it was crap.

BTW, I have nothing but love for the Irish! :thumb: They are some of the nicest people I have ever met!

Creepy was the wrong adjective. Spooky would have been a better choice.
