Uh I must confess, I had the urge to download it but I DID NOT!!!! Can someone see if this can get shut down. I think its a little late anyways, half the people on here already have it.
And someone correct me if Im wrong but as far as I know its perfectly legal to download music in Canada from p2p networks and make copies of cds and share them, as long as no money is involved.
Thats why they have levies on blank cds in Canada.
In the US its still illegal I believe.

the half comment is an exaggeration of course, but judging by the reaction on here most of the regular posters seem to have bit the bullet and got the album, how many plan to buy it, I dont know? I most certainly will buy it, I will never not buy a Hip album, but I wanted to hear it and its not illegal for me to do so, so why not? If it was illegal I wouldnt have done it actually. If you have some moral objection good for you, wait till April and have your day in the Sun.

i dont feel so bad about downloading it... since ive pre paid for 2 copies of it already...and well if everyone else is doing it... then why not...

I also don't feel bad. I buy all of their albums and go to all the concerts I can, and I also buy a lot of merchandise. Truth be told I would buy a Christmas CD if they came out with one. Point being - I will always support this group - they have given me countless hours / years of enjoyment/entertainment that I could never fully repay.

I would never want to ruin the "Have just bought new Hip album and have it in my hands then go and pop it in the cd player and blast it for the first time" feeling. No matter how much I want to hear the album, I can't sacrifice that feeling and experience that we only get to enjoy once every few years.
As you can see Im not downloading it.
