Just thought I'd post this as an FYI, for those who may be unaware:
In Cleveland, between songs the second set (I believe), Gord made it a point to address the crowd and said something to this effect (definitely not verbatim):
"Ladies, I'm aiming at you [referring to his crowd-ward hanky tosses], but I'm sorry if they aren't getting to you. Guys, if you know whats good for you, let the girls get them, or if you get one, give it to a girl".
So in case you were wondering if Gord views it as a dick move to be wrestling his hankies away from the ladies, then I think the answere is "absolutely".
The night before in Detroit, there was one episode where Gord moved over to the far left side of the stage (to his right), and tried to make a short toss to a particular girl, and some big tall bald dude snatched it before it reached her. Gord, without missing a lyric or line, then bent over to the dude while singing and held his hand out, clearly demanding the hanky back. The dude complied, and upon retrieving the hanky, Gord reached out and handed it to his initial female target. Though he did get another hanky and immediately handed it to the bald dude, his body language said "here, take it, you pushy bastard!"
Just a little heads up to all the dudes, if you care to be in Gord's good graces upfront at a show.....
