The idea for this project started with the need to obtain the rants which were interspersed within traditional Tragically Hip songs. I therefore trimmed the familiar track out of the file, leaving me with a snippet of solely rant. I saw that I had a bunch of these random snippets on my PC, so I thought to myself, "what would happen if I combined these rants together to make it into a somewhat interesting song mix?"
Behold, an 18 minute epic rant mix was born.
The purpose of this track is the same of the "macroscopic" vigniettes - being that, the track is meant to be played in the background and not focused on too heavily, as there are imperfections from the live recordings and at the transition points.
The general theme of this rantmix is water and how men go about spending years and lifetimes protecting it.
Please enjoy the track and let me hear your feedback on it. I'd like to see more of these lengthy tracks done up by hipbasers in the future if this idea catches on.

You know what this is missing?? A video.........if there was only some person out there crazy ass enough to take this and make a video for it, possibly with Angelina Jole in it??..............can't think of anyone though..... :roll: :roll: :roll:
