Click on the link titles "36 MB WMV."

All I can say about this is WOW. Jon Stewart is a revelation. Not only does he call Tucker a "dick", but he also makes fun of his bowtie, but what is worse, is how he shows everyone that Crossfire is a joke and he does it on CROSSFIRE.

My favourite quote:

JON STEWART: I didn't realize that the news organizations look to Comedy Central for their cues on integrity.

I love Jon Stewart, It really is sad if a "news" show such as crossfire is taking hints from Comedy Central. It was best summed up in this comment, "My show is preceeded by puppets making crank calls". (In reference to the Daily Show). Good Stuff.

Jon's the man. Regardless of your stripe, ya gotta love a guy that HATES spin of any kind. He's all about truth. Here's a pretty bit from RS:

Wow! I can't believe there is a guy actually named "Tucker Carlson". But I guess "Andrew McCarthy" was taken.

Calling that clown a dick is the understatement of year.

Jon Stewart rocks! This might be one of the only times I actually buy a copy of Rolling Stone.

The guy is a one-man panacea to all the rallying around the President we see in the media. Not the media themselves, but brainwashed neo-conservatives. He's the funniest man in America. Thank GOD he's on "our" side. I wouldn't want to be up against him!

Thanks fo rthe link, NFBO. I heard something about it over the weekend but wouldn't ya know, the "fair and balanced" coverage made it sound like JS was outa line.

Now, if we can only get John Stewart and Bill Maher to run in '08! Never mind P & VP; they can be co-Presidents. Smile

This is kind of curious...I scrolled down the page (where the video link is) browsing some of the posted comments and found this at the bottom:

I'm not sure if it's because we're politically interested or we just dig John Stewart, but almost as many people checked out the vid from here as from that freerepublic site, which, as I understand it from the "fair and balanced" media, is the secret meeting place of today's answer to the Communist Party.

"Insomniacs of the world, UNITE!"

Yeah I know, it's not political but it's a cool battle cry and as ignorant as Bush is, he'd probably belive insomniacs are some political or terrorist organization..."I herd them Insomniacs is werkin on nookyuler weapons..."

By the way, can anyone tell me how to log on to the other internet?

Very interesting indeed. Well, Stewart didn't just go there to be a "funny" guy. Him calling Tucker Carlson a dick was priceless.

Why stop there? How about Al Franken for Secretary of the Treasury and Bruce Springsteen for Secretary of Defense?

Confusedcratch:

You guys are forgetting that once Stewart and Maher leave the confines of their television studios, there isn't a pack of screaming, swooning, moronic groupies following them around to bestow a false air of legitimacy upon every villifying statement they make.
