No way! If you can't sing that from memory then you shouldnt sing it! Though I guess there would have to be a 3 minute gap in the middle in order to complete the rant.

Go to one of those stores that sell nothing but karaoke CD's. There is a Hip karaoeke CD with stuff up to IVL, but places like Wal-Mart don't have it.

Back in high school/college I haf this friend who would go up every week and aing NOIS during karaoke, and he would ALWAYS put a rant in the middle. He was a huge hip fan. It became so popular that other bar goers would request topics for him to rant about.

Maybe you Ottawa people already know this but The Urban Well (Laurier and Nelson) has the best karaoke (i.e. it doesn't suck) every Wednesday night. And often times the HIP tunes are heard with a little ad lib ranting here and there.
