Who should be Canada's next Prime Minister
#1

Just curious where the support is in the Hipbase...

The Poll will close 46 days from now to (hopefully) coincide with election day.

I'm keeping it simple...only Liberal, Conservative, NDP or "other" available to vote on. I'd have put in the Marijuana Party, but it wouldn't be fair to the big 3

I also should have put Gord Downie as an option, but I guess he too falls under "others"...... Smile

Well, we don't get that option on the ballot, do we? Then again, maybe we should.

Really! Who to pick?

Thats a pretty even dispersal of votes. I think the NDP will definitely gain some votes this time around, it will be interesting to see if they can convert the votes into seats.

I've been watching the polls very closely. Especially broken down by region. It's possible that a Bloc sweep of Quebec (or something close to it) could mean a Tory minority without a plurality of the votes nationwide. It's undemocratic but such is the system in which we live. Almost all majority governments have had far less than 50% of the popular vote.

the conservative ideas are bad. Read the WHO's publication The Solid Facts to see what the conservatives are doing wrong. It's only 33 pages.
