Not much action at the moment, but I thought it would be a good idea to keep things updated as trades unfold. As of right now this is all that's happened..
Edmonton trades No.1 Draft Pick and a conditional draft pick to Minnesota for G-Dwayne Roloson.

grumble grumble.... I would have much rather seen Cujo back or Biron in Edmonton.....
A first rounder for a 36 year old goalie...... I will bite my tongue and see how this works out.....

How is this possibly good news? Czerkawski, a player who has shown he can play, was not given a chance at all this year. He was literally ONE man's garbage: Pat Quinn. Czerkawski gets his walking papers and Antropoo plays every night. If Paul Maurice is not the Leafs' head coach by next season I will be very upset.

I read someone in the paper or something the Buffalo has come out and said Biron is NOT being traded, only Norenen... so that was out.
I don't mind Roloson, in fact I hope!!! he turns out to be a good pick up. I mean, can't get any worse can it? I just think the price was too high, though it's been known for months that Edmonton needs a goalie, so most teams probably were holding guns to their head........
Perhaps they can make a trade for some scoring help.....

The Leafs just got older. :lol:
They acquired 36 year old Luke Richardson from Columbus in exchange for a conditional draft pick (either a fifth round pick in 2006 Entry Draft or fourth round pick in 2007).

Leafs trade a fifth and conditional fourth round pick for Luke Richardson.
The Sharks trade for Niemmenen or whatever.
So far, nothing big...
Wait till tomorrow when the Leafs sign Wendel Clark, Gary Leeman, Dave Ellett, Drake Berehowsky, and Nikolai Borschevsky to long-term deals.
