It's funny watching the top 100 videos on Much Music this evening. It should be titled: "Top 100 videos of all time as voted by the current Much Music staff"
No Hip of course, yet, California Love (don't get me wrong, good tune and video) made the top 30, that was in '95 when Nautical Disaster was getting played on Much constantly. Ah well.... Maybe Much More Music could have a real top 100 countdown. What is the best video of all time anyway? And what is the best HIP video? I'd say Nautical.

I think the videos are on You Tube, some of them at least. There's also the Hipeponymous box set.
As for the top 100, wow, let me look for a link to that list. It's amazing, because you would think that VJs, people hired to introduce, play and perhaps watch these clips would realize how fucking lousy some of these videos in the top 100 were. Hollaback Girl, by Gwen Stefani was #10. I don't think there's even a No Doubt video that would make my top 100.
Anyway, I think The Hip's best video is In View or My Music At Work. Both would make my list.

I watched from #19-1 last night, not sure of the exact order, but the top 10 included & was something like...

08. Green Day- forget the name of the song, i think "jesus" is in the title

okay, where are the huo videos?
ill admit that all the small things by blink deserves to be somewhere on the list (dont like the song that much, and its debateable as to where on the list it should be); as should beautiful people by MM.... but why in the top ten, and where are some absolutely classic other videos?
